OFFER: BUY AND FIT FERODO BRAKE PADS AND RECEIVE A FREE FERODO-BRANDED LANTERN.
Promotion Rules
1.1. The Hi-Q | Ferodo Free Lantern Promotion (the “Promotion”) will run from 20 March 2023 until close of business on 20 April 2023 (“Promotion Period”) or while stocks last. No offer will be made before the start date of the Promotion.
1.2. The Promotion is open to all South African citizens or permanent residents who are and located in South Africa at the time of purchasing and fitting the brake pads to their vehicle and who are over 18 years of age, except directors, members, partners, employees of Hi-Q Automotive (Pty) Ltd (Hi-Q) and any of its affiliated companies (the “Organiser”), and its advertising and/or promotion agencies, consultants and business partners, including all companies of the Tenneco Group of Companies, outlet owners, retailers and wholesalers that form part of the promotion, including any of their immediate families.
2. Eligibility requirements
2.1. To be eligible to receive the free Ferodo branded lantern (“Promotional Item”), a customer must purchase and fit a set of Ferodo brake pads at a Hi-Q store.
2.2. The customer will be presented with one (1) branded lantern upon conclusion of their purchase and completion of the fitting of the brake pads to their vehicle.
2.3. Only one (1) lantern will be awarded per set fitted per vehicle.
2.4. The lanterns will be subject to availability whilst stocks last.
2.5. The Promotion is not transferrable, not exchangeable or not redeemable for cash at Hi-Q stores, neither in whole nor in part.
3. General
3.1. In the event of any dispute arising with regard to the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions including the interpretation thereof, the decision of the Organisers is final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.2. The Promotion is conducted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Should any of these Terms and Conditions be deemed void or unenforceable, then that rule will be deemed to be deleted and the remaining rules will remain in force.
3.3. The Organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in their sole discretion should they consider this appropriate, before the Promotion closes, and any such amendment(s) shall be posted on the Hi-Q website www.hiq.co.za
3.4. The customer acknowledges and hereby consents to the Organisers and the Hi-Q outlets collecting the following personal information about the customer for the purposes of this Promotion: the customer’s identity/passport number and contact details, such as telephone number(s) and email address(es). The Organisers and the Hi-Q outlets will not sell, use or share this information to or with third parties, or for any purpose other than related to this Promotion, unless we have received your prior written consent, but may disclose the information if required by law.
3.5. The Organisers and/or the Hi-Q outlets may ask the customer for their consent to be identified and photographed and to publish such photographs in print and/or social media, or may ask the customer to appear on radio and television, when accepting the Promotional Item. The customer will be given the opportunity to decline the publication of their images and to decline to participate in such promotional marketing material prior to Hi-Q using any material for the purpose as above mentioned.
3.6. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, suspend or terminate the Promotion at any time. The Organisers shall have no liability whatsoever to the customer and/or third party arising from or as a consequence of such cancellation, suspension or termination.
3.7. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
3.7.1. neither the Organisers nor the Hi-Q outlets shall be liable for any: claims, damages or losses (whether direct, indirect, general, special, incidental, consequential or punitive), expenses or costs (including, but not limited to, costs on an attorney and own client scale) or injuries of whatsoever nature (together referred to as “Losses”), suffered by the customer or any third party arising from or as a result of this Promotion (whether directly or indirectly) and/or the customer’s participation in this Promotion; and
3.7.2. the customer indemnifies and holds harmless the Organisers and the Hi-Q outlets against any Losses, howsoever caused or arising.
3.8. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer accepts and uses the Promotional Item at the customer’s own risk and expressly agrees that the neither the Organisers nor the Hi-Q outlets will be liable in any way for any costs or expenses (including, but not limited to, potential taxes to be borne by the customer) incurred by the customer in claiming their Promotional Item.
